Our Story
PowerUp Electric was founded in 2001 by John Peterson, a third-generation master electrician with a simple belief: every home and business deserves safe, reliable, and fairly priced electrical work.
What started as a one-truck operation has grown into one of the most trusted electrical service companies in the Greater Metro Area. Over two decades, we have completed more than 5,000 projects — from simple outlet repairs to full commercial build-outs — earning the trust of thousands of homeowners and business owners along the way.
Despite our growth, we remain a family-owned business at heart. John still personally oversees major projects and maintains the same standards his grandfather taught him: do the job right the first time, treat every home like your own, and never cut corners on safety.
Today, our team of licensed electricians serves residential and commercial clients with the same dedication and attention to detail that built our reputation.
